Evaporated Milk Plant

Evaporated Milk Plant
Evaporated milk is a sterilized product, light creamy color. The product finds a large market in tropical countries. It is used where fresh milk is not available. It is also used as a substitute for breast milk, in which case Vitamin D is added. It is also used in cooking and as a Coffee/Tea Whitener.

The manufacturing process for the evaporated milk involves precision standardization of the fat content and the dry solids contents. This is followed by heat treatment which partly destroys the microbes present in the milk so that the risk of coagulation of milk is avoided in the subsequent sterilization process.

In the manufacturing of evaporated milk, the heat treated milk is fed to an evaporator, where it is concentrated up to 26% (8% Fat and 18% SNF). The milk is then homogenized before being cooled. Checks are carried out on the coagulation stability of the milk before it is packaged in the sterilized cans. The product is then placed in an autoclave for sterilization. Finally the cans are cooled before storage. The different stages in the production of evaporated milk are: -

SSP has designed and developed a continuous khoa manufacturing plant having 30 kg/hr khoa output capacity (model SK-30) in technical collaboration with National Dairy Research Institue, Karnal. Khoa is an important ingredient in the manufacturing of milk based sweets. There are three types of Khoa available in the market.

As manual handling of milk is avoided the khoa produced continuously from the machine is highly hygienic. It has better control to manufacture different types of khoa like danedar, dhap or pindi as per the requirement. The machine capacity is 30 kg/h khoa output from 150 kg/h milk. For higher capacity the plant can be designed as per the customer's requirement.

Danedar
It has a granular texture having 20 - 25% fat and 35-40% moisture. It is mainly used forthe preparation of kalakand, granular burfi, etc.

Dhap
This grade of Khoa is typified by its fine grain structure. It contains about 20-23% fat and 37-44% moisture.

Pindi
This form of Khoa has a lower moisture content (of about 19%). The other ingredients are fat 37%, protein 18%, lactose 22% and ash 3.6%. All the above types of khoa can be manufactured using this machine.




Soya Milk/Powder Plant

Soya milk and its related food products are getting popularised throughout the world due to their nutritional and medicinal qualities. Soy milk is high in protein and low in fat and carbohydrate and contains no cholesterol. It is an excellent food for babies, children and the elderly people including pregnant and lactating women as it contains vegetable protein that is very easy to digest.

It is honored with the names as the meat without bones, the cow of china and Japan. The soy food is one of the few foods considered as a perfect alternative of meat and dairy products. Besides having excellent nutritional qualities soya milk is very useful for diabetics, heart patients, children and elderly people suffering from lactose intolerance by consuming cow / buffalo milk. Recent studies have proved that some of the nutrients of the soya milk are potential cancer fighter.

SC-200 : A SOYA MILK DAIRY
The plant has been designed for handling 200 Litre of soy milk per hour from soy beans.

Soymilk and its derivatives are the cheapest source of protein than any of the animal or plant protein. Soymilk produced by 'SC-200' machine is free of beany off-flavour and can be turned into tofu, curd, hot and cold drinks, ice creams, fruit shakes etc. Tofu (soy paneer) makes tasty dishes of the local taste and snacks like soy burger patties, sandwiches, pakoras, etc., and is also used for Western Style main dishes and desserts.

The plant will be in operation for 20 hours in a day.

SSP can supply plant for other capacities from 1000 LPH to 6000 LPH soy milk in collaboration with M/s. Prosoya Canada.

Soya Milk Powder Plant
SSP also offers suitable multiple effect evaporation plant to concentrate the soya milk and spray drying plant to convert soya milk concentrate into soya milk powder of instant quality. Okara dryer is also available.
